Shane McAleer

Artist Bio

Shane McAleer grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where he started drawing at a very young age. Throughout his school years, Shane continued his pursuit of visual arts and had several pieces in his local art gallery. At the end of high school, Shane joined the United States Navy which he still serves today, 18 years later. Shane’s first duty station was in Okinawa, Japan, where he served as a flight aviation observer across the western Pacific for three years. During his time in Japan, Shane married his high school sweetheart (Miranda), and she continued her undergrad from Ohio State to a distance education school; she ultimately graduated with a Master’s degree in Marketing.

After Japan, Shane and Miranda moved back to Biloxi, Mississippi for advanced technical school. While in school, Shane screened for Naval Special Warfare and served four years as SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team ONE in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. With the platoons, Shane completed several deployments, including onboard SSGN submarines, to the Middle East, and across the western Pacific. Following his tour in Hawaii, Shane screened to further serve within Special Forces at Joint Special Operations Command out of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. During

Once commissioned as a Naval Officer, Shane and Miranda moved to San Diego, California where he serves as a technical advisor
The “Mac Pack” will be moving to Monterey, California summer of 2024 and Shane plans to retire from naval service fall of 2026. They plan to move back to Ohio to continue to grow their business and Shane plans to continue his art while they enjoy raising their two boys.
